In the first instance the studio is available for hire 7 days a week from 10am
until last booking at 6pm. Obviously you can hire just the studio and bring your
own model, or you can hire a model from our model directory. The fee for the studio
is £15.00 per hour which gives you full access to everything here. The fee for models
varies depending on the model and the type of shoot you wish to do.
I am always
happy to assist with setting the lights up and to show you the ropes to get you started on my
equipment. We use radio triggers so no need for cables or heavy infra red transmitters.
I can provide 1 2 1 training. This normally consists of 2 hours. 1 hour with
me in the studio and a model and 1 hour on your own with the model to
practice what you have learnt. It's the best way to keep it in memory. During
the first hour I show you the basics of using the lights, a flash meter, and
how best to use your camera in full manual mode. I also show you how to work
with and interact with a model.
The fees are as follows: 1 hour of studio time plus training £30 then 1 hour studio £15.00 plus two hours
of model fees. (dependent on model)
If you are looking to have an actors - dancers - singers - portfolio at not a ridiculous price then do get in touch to discuss what you need and you'll be pleasantly surprised by the cost.
I have been asked in the past to take pictures of wives and girlfriends in professional calendar style shoots and it has been very successful and I have now added this as a service we provide here at Pixel 8 so do call or email for prices.
If you are looking to become a model and wish to have a test shoot then send your pictures to me by email in the first instance for my advice. If you are successful this is a service I do not charge for.
