Hi
again
I’ve
had a few complaints after my last newsletter which
surprised me, however it was actually quite flattering.
It seems some of you preferred it when I not only
told you about what is going on at the studio, but
also gave you news about what was what and even worse
my opinions on this and that.
So
flattered I will certainly let you know my thoughts
and if I bore you to tears I apologise now at the
start.
Ok
first things first the totally brilliant news that
our very own Katie G has found fame in the modelling
world and not a moment to soon. I think we all knew
that at some point Katie would break through to the
top in the modelling world. It really is a Cinderella
story too. Katie read in Metro that Wonderbra were
looking for a next door girl to promote the brand
so they advertised a casting day. Katie went along,
waited 4 hours in a queue and by the time it was her
turn she pouted at the camera and was glad to get
out and away. A few days later her phone beeped with
one message after another. It turned out her picture
was in the Daily Express and the headline was, “Do
you know this girl?” Wonderbra explained that
she had been picked, but they didn’t have her
details so the search was on! I have to say this was
a fantastic way for Wonderbra to get publicity as
of course all the papers and news stations picked
up on it the following day.
For
those of you that follow the website you will know
that Katie was booked here for our group shoot last
Sunday. Being Katie of course she turned up although
there were a few rules as now obviously she is under
contract. She was more than happy to have her picture
taken with everyone that came. Here’s mine.

Watch
the BBC news article.

I
will of course as I usually do put up pics from the
shoot over the week end.
There
is something that had me pulling my hair out recently.
(Ok metaphorically speaking) I discovered I had dust
on my CCD!! OMG there they were thick and black out
of focus blodges all over my pics when stopped down
and the background is a stop or two under. “DON’T
PANIC!!!” Remember guys I’m a film man
and every time I took a picture a new sheet moved
into the frame. So every picture was clean and crisp,
so such things as dust on a CCD are new to me. Obviously
it is something I have discussed with other smudgers
and the thoughts on the subject vary so much. Some
say it needs to go back to the manufacturer to be
cleaned, (Further on this later) others that its OK
to clean it with a spatula and meths. Oh Help.
There
is only one thing to do when the prices of branded
cleaning equipment varies so much and it really does
seem that you can pay a lot of money for something
that really doesn’t do much. So there are people
for who the matter of dirty sensor has become an obsession
so may I suggest you read this.

A truly useful article.
As
this news article goes to press Dannii is due to have
her baby any minute although by the time you read
this she probably will have done it as I've just heard
things are looking likely V soon!
Picture

The very lovely Kimberly has a new look and I am waiting
to put her new pictures up as soon as I get her into
the studio for a shoot. Here are 2 pics taken by Colin
Ackerman that show her new look. Remember Kim is always
available here at the studio.
Keep watching this space as I will be putting up details
very shortly about our next group shoot at the end
of August. (Where does the time go?)
Well if you've made it this far not
too bored so well done.
Until
next time.
